VMware Engineer (contract)
An IT consulting company that works with multiple national and international clients, hired me to work with a Federal client within their virtual datacenters as a lead engineer and to drive multiple project for stabilizing and cloud migration.
· Cloud Migration Lead: Directed POC for migrating from VMware to Azure, ensuring feasibility, performance, and compliance for a large-scale federal environment. Technical Lead for overseeing upgrade from 7.x to 8.x, including Cisco UCS fabric interconnect firmware upgrades, 8 vCenters across 2 datacenters and 185 ESXi hosts.
· Virtualization Strategy: Took ownership of a stalled vRealize Operation platform after the previous manager’s passing and upgraded, stabilized, and restored functionality. Reduced alert noise, resolved data collector failures and now delivering critical reporting used agency-wide to drive multiple projects.
· Project Lead: Led multi-team initiatives for virtual upgrade, documentation for Confluence, vendor relations, and streamlined project documentation and cross training for engineers across multiple silos.

A subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, LTI is a multinational consulting corporation that recruited me to work with two Fortune 100 companies as a Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to work towards virtualization and cloud project.
· VMware Architecture: Upgraded vCenter 6.x to 8.x, ESXi hosts, and designed resource pools, realigned VM’s based on utilization and priority and reduced host utilization by 60% which eliminated the request for additional hardware, saving approximately $350k. A technology solutions provider headquartered in Bangalore contracted me to work with a Fortune 100 company to work on sequencing scripts and deploying various software packages into multiple cloud platforms.
· Windows Server Engineer: Responsible for creating package sequencing scripts (in PowerShell) to be used for deploying software packages throughout production and development virtual enterprise environments.

· Managed the successful migration of a large-scale data center to a cloud-based infrastructure,
completing the project ahead of schedule and under budget, resulting in a cost savings of 25%.

Virtual Datacenter Consultant (contract)
Recruited by the largest privately held elderly care company in the US to serve as a datacenter consultant within their virtualization environment, tasked with designing and deploying remediation and disaster recovery plans, while offering comprehensive guidance on enhancing the overall infrastructure.
· Datacenter Design: designed a remediation plan to upgrade the VMware environment which included co-terming VMware licensing, redesign of distributed vswitches, cluster layout, networking and datastores. Redesigned the network port uplinks, vmnic’s, mounted datastores, content library and template management, and security hardening tasks.
· Team Lead: Lead engineering team on projects to rebuild ESXi hosts, redesign the distributed vLANs, distributed uplinks, datastores with Pure Storage, and network configurations. Also shared continual updates with senior management, including hardware refresh for end of life and brought in several POC’s such as NetApp, Nutanix, Rubrik, Cohesity, and VxRail, while working towards bringing in a VMware engineer.

Recruited by a national enterprise solutions provider and Fortune 200 company to join their hyperconverged post-sales delivery team.
